Starting Over

I’m hoping this blog is much more user friendly than my old blog. It does mean I now have to start over on my posts. Previously I posted a blog about finishing my commissioned painting “Dunrobin Castle”. I’m now using that image as my blog icon to click on. Yes it’s done, and I feel the painting was a success. It was quite a challenge. On to new paintings, or finishing some that have been started. Now that the holiday season is upon us, I’m working on Cardinal Christmas ornaments. That window is very short, so I want to get more done, more than the 7 I already have. They are somewhat difficult to do since it’s such a small format, a 3.5 inch round glass ornament.  I knew I should have been painting on them since last Christmas  but other things always get in the way.  Please contact me if there any questions about the missouriartists website or anything else about art, being an artist, painting, etc. I hope to hear from you!

I recently realized the link I used for blogging was too difficult for people to post comments. I’m trying word press now to see if this is more “user friendly”. Let’s see if it works after I link to my website….
